The Chantry Hotel, Dronfield

I popped in for lunch and the meal was excellent! I had tempura shrimps as a starter, which were delicious. The main was a sumptuous lasagne, and I enjoyed a mini trio of desserts that were simply scrummy. The atmosphere in the dining room took me right back to when dinner was an occasion, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The view from the conservatory was beautiful too!

The bed in my room was probably the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and had all I needed for a good night's sleep. I loved the classic décor, which added to the unique charm of the hotel. It made my stay feel special and homey!

The private car park was an excellent feature of the Chantry Hotel, with gates that were locked at night, giving me peace of mind for the safety of my vehicle. I appreciated not having to worry about parking throughout my stay.

I couldn't help but notice the lovely grand piano in the dining area, adding a magical layer to the ambiance. It really took me back to the days when dinner was an event. Even though I didn't dine there, just entering the room was a good experience.
